Save the date for a special Cooking Class with SCR Culinary Director Ashton Hall!
We are pleased to announce the beginning of cooking classes at SCR in 2018. Our first class is scheduled for Wednesday, January 31st, and will feature fun and easy techniques for warm, hearty and healthy wintertime dishes!
Chef Ashton will walk you through his tried-and-true method for Butternut Squash Soup that can be applied to other fun ingredients like Celery Root or even a Brussel Sprout Bisque.
Next, he will walk you through a fun dish - Hot Bacon and Sherry Vinegar Dressing - that can be used many different ways.
Lastly, you will be shown the tricks and secrets of braising that can translate into endless options in the kitchen.
The class will be held in the Great Room beginning at 12:30 pm and finishing at approximately 3:00 pm. You will sample the dishes as they are prepared, as well as provided with printed copies of the recipes.
The price is $75 per person and includes the dishes during and after preparation.
