Upcoming Golf Events in July

During the middle of summer, there are still opportunities to play in several of our fun, exciting events at The Ranch. July has three opportunities to organize for a competitive round of golf.

On Saturday, July 23rd, couples join to compete and have fun at The Sake Bomb, a 9-hole scramble that concludes with Sake Bombs at the Great Room Bar, as well as a special dinner.

On Friday, July 29th, we are turning the practice facility into a golf course at night for The Full Moon Scramble! Using special glow-in-the-dark equipment, the practice facility will be transformed and designed into a 9-hole short course. Starting at 7:00 PM, drinks and food will be served. Teams will shotgun start at 8:00 PM. Cocktails, desserts and awards will be served at the conclusion of the event. Teams can be full of members and guests, men and women, so grab your friends and enjoy this inaugural event!

On Sunday, July 31st, parents and juniors team up to compete in The Bloodline. There are three divisions, two 18-hole divisions and one 9-hole division, for juniors of all ages and skill levels in which to compete. Tee times will begin at 2:00 PM for this championship event. Dinner will be at 6:30 PM with players and additional family welcome to join!

To sign up for any of these golf events, you can email the Golf Shop at, call the Golf Shop at (901) 853-5650, or sign up in the Golf Shop.

Junior Golf Camps in July

We will begin our Junior Golf Camps for the summer in July. The first camp will be from July 13th through July 15th. The second camp will be the following week, July 20th through July 22nd. Each camp will begin at 9 AM and end at 11 AM.

We encourage golfers ages 6-12, including beginners to more experienced players, to participate. We will separate into groups depending on age, skill level and experience.

The clinics will cover a wide variety of instruction ranging from beginning basics to more in-depth analysis of the relationship between the body, the club and the golf ball. We will cover techniques involved in everything from driving to putting. We will also discuss golf course management, attitude, mentality and tournament golf.

The cost is $100 per week/camp. That includes 6 hours of instruction, tee favors and supplies. We will also have demo clubs if a child does not have their own.

Pace of Play: Saturday, May 14th

Despite our pace of play accomplishments in recent weeks, this Saturday brought some pace challenges. We are aware of the increased pace and working hard to prevent it from happening again.

Here are some changes that will be made immediately:

  • All qualifiers, matches, competitions etc will be moved to off-peak hours
  • Squeeze times will no longer be provided as one squeeze time per day can have dramatic affects on pace of play. It is imperative that accurate tee times are made prior to your visit.

Thank you for your support as we strive to provide an optimal golfing experience for our membership.
