Resignation Policy

We look forward to discussing how we can better provide you with your member experience. However we can help grow your business or improve your family recreation time, our team is committed to enhancing your quality of life.

If you are confident that resignation is in your best interest, we have outlined our resignation requirements below:

  • Members must complete a resignation form, which can be accessed here
  • After submission of the resignation form, your 30-day resignation period will begin. Your membership will expire at the end of the month in which this 30-day resignation period ends. Please be advised that the resignation period can take anywhere from 30 to 60 days total.

For example, if you submit resignation on February 15th, your membership expires at the end of March.

If you have any questions regarding membership resignation, please contact Greg King at gregk@springcreekranch.org.

Guests in the Workout Facility

We are excited to have a workout facility for our members to utilize. For our golfers, the workout facility is a great tool to improve strength, conditioning and flexibility as it relates to overall health and one's golf game. For our social members, the workout facility is an excellent location to work out uninterrupted.

With the growth of our membership and increased usage of the gym, we have decided to restrict guests from working out at SCR. This decision was made to ensure a serene, Ranch-like atmosphere for our members.

Fishing Policy

  • Spring Creek Ranch members and cabin guests (accompanied by SCR members) are allowed to fish Tuesdays through Sundays when the course is open for member play.
  • All members and cabin guests must check in with the Golf Shop before and after fishing.
  • Fishing attire expectations are the same as our golf attire expectations - no jeans, no cutoff shorts, shirts tucked in and hats worn forward. Additionally, men's shirts must have collars.
  • Fishing is allowed on Holes No. 6 and No. 16 in defined areas ONLY.
  • When checking in, all members and cabin guests must sign a waiver of liability form (kept on file) and will be provided a fishing pass.
  • All juniors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Please park golf carts in designated parking areas. These are shown on the fishing passes.
  • Fishing on Hole No. 6 is allowed on the north side of the lake between the fishing boundary markers.
  • Fishing on Hole No. 16 is allowed on the levee between the boundary markers.
  • When checking in, please ask the Golf Shop an appropriate time to return the golf cart.
  • All fishing on the lakes is "catch and release" as quickly and safely to the fish as possible.

Monday Ranch Availability

We are excited to provide our members with club availability six days a week. Our traditional closed day is Monday and will remain so unless otherwise advertised. Here are some answers to some Frequently Asked Questions regarding this subject.

Why is Spring Creek Ranch closed on Mondays?

Spring Creek Ranch is closed one day a week for the following reasons.

  • Uninterrupted Course Maintenance Practice- To further benefit the six day experience at Spring Creek Ranch, we reserve Mondays for the agronomical practices that are typically very disruptive to course openings.
  • The Member Experience- We are passionate about providing the best member experience possible. Without increasing staff, we are unable to provide even basic member service standards such as cart availability, get clubs out of storage, etc.
  • Liability- Providing Monday availability, even when limited, poses a risk to the safety of our property. Without increasing staff, the club’s best interest is to minimize this threat via a closing.

What is available to members on Mondays?

The Spring Creek Ranch workout facility will remain open on Mondays. Anyone who choses to utilize this facility, must do so at their own risk. The golf house, including restrooms, will remain closed during this time and there will be no access to the locker room facilities. Should an emergency occur, please contact 911 immediately. As consistent with other days of the week, there will be no guests allowed in the workout facility.

Can I use the putting greens and chipping greens on Mondays?

Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to provide ALL members with putting green and chipping green access on Mondays. As such, the putting greens and chipping greens must remain closed on Mondays.

Is the Golf Academy open on Mondays?

The Golf Academy remains open on Mondays. Clients of our Golf Academy must park at the North end of the practice facility (enter from Monterey Road). Our Academy instructors will provide clients with balls to warm-up with for 15 minutes prior to their lesson. In situations where our Academy instructors see fit, a 15-minute wind down session is permissible. Should a member have clubs in bag storage on a Monday with a scheduled lesson and/or fitting, he or she’s instructor will be able to get the clubs out of bag storage.

Is fishing allowed on Mondays?

Fishing, and any other activity on our golf course, will not be allowed on Mondays. Similar to golf, we are unable to provide the control and security that our club needs.

I have seen people playing on Monday, how is this possible?

Occasionally, we offer our staff the opportunity to play on Mondays as a benefit to their employment. There are strict check-in/check-out rules placed on our staff and they are limited to play the holes where there is no agronomy employee present. Additionally, we host charitable outings from time to time. In doing so, we are able to provide the course with the financial stability it needs.

What is the dress code if I have a lesson?

Monday lessons included, your attire should adhere to the guidelines provided in our Member Expectations.

We appreciate your understanding of this topic as it is ultimately enforced for the best of the club and it’s members.
